Mike Cerimele

Biography

Mike F. Cerimele, Jr. is a 1996 graduate of Central Catholic High School .  He enjoyed a very successful football career with honors including: 3 year letter winner as both fullback and linebacker, 1993 State Champion, 2 time District Champion, 3 time Conference Champion, USA TODAY All-American, Big 33 Invitation and Co-Captain.  Because of his talents, he was offered a full scholarship to Penn State University
 
While earning a BA in Communications at Penn State , Mike continued his success on the field.  Highlights include: 3 year letter winner as fullback, 3 year started as fullback and special teams, Fiesta Bowl Champion, Outback Bowl Champion, Alamo Bowl Champion, and also played in the Citrus Bowl.  He led the team in touchdowns in 1998 and became a team co-captain in 2000.  That year Mike also played in the Blue & Grey All-Star Game and the Senior Bowl.  He then trained for NFL Combine and was picked up as a Rookie Free Agent during the 2000 NFL draft.
 

Between 2000 and 2002, Mike played for the Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, Amsterdam Admirals (NFL Europe) and finished his professional football career during the 2002 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a related injury.  Mike then worked as a Pharmaceuticals Sales Consultant for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, as well as a Territory Manager for EBI, Inc., in the spinal implant sales industry from fall 2002 until winter 2005.
