October’s athlete of the month is Ryan Say.  Ryan is a special athlete whose consistent training and never give up attitude is paying off. He is a junior on the baseball team at El Modena High School playing the positions of pitcher, first and third base. As parents, we have an overwhelming desire to give to our children.  When they hit preschool age we begin to receive invitations to have them join a baseball team or a soccer program.  As other kids join, we don’t want ours to miss out so we sign up too.
