Velocity Sports Performance, specializing in advanced sports performance training for athletes of all ages and skill levels, today announced the grand opening of its newest location in partnership with M1 Volleyball in Bloomington, MN. Located at 1701 W 94th Street, Suite 275, Bloomington is the latest of over 65 facilities to open nationwide, making Velocity Sports Performance one of the fastest growing sports performance franchises in the country. Classes will officially begin on Monday, November 28th.

On Sept. 1, two dynamic sports organizations, Velocity Sports Performance of Champlin and Crossfire Youth Sports of Minnetonka, came together to form a perfect union of sports programming and training. Velocity Sports Performance is excited to have trained four of the top athletes selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft on Thursday, April 28th. 

BALTIMORE, MD (February 3, 2011) – Velocity Sports Performance, the California-based franchisor of sports performance training centers throughout the U.S., has teamed up with Combine360, Inc. for the Combine360TM platform developed by IMG Academies in conjunction with Under Armour. Velocity will integrate the Combine360 training and evaluation platform, designed to enhance overall athletic ability by incorporating the three main components of athleticism, movement, and character, into its current training program in all facilities nationwide.

Three-time Pro Bowler and former Texan cornerback Aaron Glenn retired as a Texan on Wednesday.

To prepare for Gatorade Replay 3, the athletes participating in the rematch will take part in a customized, 8-week training and nutrition program developed with the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) and the Gatorade Training Council, and implemented with the help of professionals from Velocity Sports Performance.
