Antico Dalton
Position: Sports Performance CoachBiography
Antico Dalton joined the Velocity Sports Performance team as a performance coach. Coach Dalton brought to Velocity extensive experience as a Professional football athlete from 1999-2007. He has played for the Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, and Atlanta Falcons. Antico has the experience of playing overseas with the Berlin Thunder with NFL Europe, and the Edmonton Eskimos with the CFL. During his career, Coach Dalton was the NFC Central Division Champion with the Minnesota Vikings, World Bowl Champion with the Berlin Thunder, and the Grey Cup Champ with the Edmonton Eskimos.
Antico attended Hampton University as a scholar Business Management Major, and a stellar athlete on the football field. During his time at Hampton University off the field, he received his BA degree, and on the field, as a team captain he was given the dubious task of leading his team to a National Championship.
In 1999,Coach Antico Dalton was rated All-American in the top twenty for Linebackers in the country, as was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round 199th pick. He started as a linebacker during his NFL career and also played Defensive End and Safety during his professional tenure. Antico wants more than anything to not only get Velocity Sports Performance athletes in the best physical shape of their lives, but also he wants to build their confidence so they may be productive in and outside of sports. Along with all of his Performance Coach experience, Coach Dalton holds a nationally ranked certification in personal training/fitness.
