I feel like it is overdue that I thank everyone at Velocity for what they have done for my son.
The difference has been stunning since he started coming to Velocity. He improved immediately as an athlete. His speed changed overnight. It has given him the opportunity to play his sport (soccer) at higher and higher levels. This summer the Clemson University coaches put him through their varsity workouts and measured his performance. He actually outperformed the average varsity soccer player in the 40 yard dash and the 60 yard shuttle run. He immediately had them asking questions about his team, club, etc. Velocity gets all the credit that he could do this in the summer between his freshman and sophomore year in high school.
The staff at Velocity is so good. I am so impressed by their enthusiasm and knowledge. I don't even care which trainer Kyle has when we book a session. They all take a personal interest in Kyle and his development. As proud as I am of what Kyle has done with soccer, I am much happier with what he has done at Velocity. In a play on words I feel he like he is "fit for life".

Dear Jed,
I am writing this letter to express my sincere appreciation for the training, support, and encouragement you and the staff at Velocity Sports performance provided for my son, Jared Shaw. Jared left a Division II college, where he had a partial football scholarship, in December, 2008 to pursue his dream of playing for the University of South Carolina. In February, 2009, Jared began his training at Velocity and he was definitely the most prepared athlete at the tryouts. On August 24th, Jared got the call that he was officially a Gamecock, and his dream became a reality.
Jed, I know that Jared will come by on a school break to thank you personally but I also wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the expert training and advice you game him. The skills you developed in Jared were invaluable to his success! i am also thankful for the training and encouragement that Tico Dalton gave Jared. Tico's work ethic was always a motivational factor in Jared's training. In addition, I must thank Jim Shimburski for working with me on a payment plan. I knew that Velocity was where Jared needed to be and I am very grateful that Jim helped me come up with a way to pay for it. This was truly the best money I have ever spent! All of your staff is truly top notch.
Saying "thank you" seems so small compared to the huge opportunity you and your staff provided for my son. it was truly a blessing to have discovered your company! I wish you much success in the future.

First of all I would like to thank you and the staff of Velocity for the impact you have had on my sons life. I can not say enough good things about your program. We have been so impressed with all the trainer's at Velocity, you guys have given my son Tanner the confidence that he was lacking in his sports life. As his strength has increased so has his self esteem. Tyler has increased his speed and overall agility. We have taken this program up to the very day Baseball preseaon training begins for their High School, where both boys are expected to start on varsity. Dear Coach Jed,
First, please let me say thank you for your support and motivation over the last several months. Without you, your professional knowledge, your staff and facilities, Grayson Thompson would not have achieved the outstanding results. Actually, please let me state that the dramatic results are almost to good to be true, and that Grayson is a walking testimonial that if you follow your program, amazing things will happen. You really need to see Grayson on the baseball field. His performance is directly related to the gains he has achieved from Velocity Sports Performance. Grayson’s self confidence, physical condition, health and strength have improved tremendously during this time, and he has received so many positive complements from peers, adults and coaches. Let me also say that his blood pressure has returned to normal. As a parent, I am extremely proud of having the opportunity to be a part of this positive life changing experience. This has not been easy and has taken a huge commitment in time, money and self-discipline. We found out real quick that it is not cheap to eat healthy and become physically fit.
It seems like it was yesterday when Grayson and I listened to your program on how you could transform his body into a Division 1 athlete. I have to say that I was skeptical, because for years, I have always heard that you can’t teach speed, that you either have it or you don’t. Now, after just a few short months of following your nutrition plan, diet and rigorous workout program, I am a believer and can challenge anyone on the subject of teaching and improving speed. Also, I believe Grayson can compete at the Division 1 level. Thank you!

JARED WANTED ME TO LET EVERYONE AT VELOCITY SPORTS KNOW HOW HIS FOOTBALL SEASON WENT THIS YEAR. THEY WON THE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP LAST SATURDAY NIGHT BY A SCORE OF 26-14. JARED HAD A GREAT GAME ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE. ON OFFENSE WE USED HIM AS A PULLING LINEMAN BEING THE LEAD BLOCKER THAT HELPED US SCORE TWO OF OUR TOUCHDOWNS DURING THE SECOND HALF. ON DEFENSE HE HAD 7 SOLO TACKLES, 4 ASST AND A FORCED FUMBLE IN WHICH WE PICKED UP AND RAN IT IN FOR THE LAST TOUCHDOWN OF THE GAME.
I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE AT VELOCITY FOR WORKING WITH HIM THIS SUMMER. ALL OF THE COACHES ON HIS TEAM AND THE COACHES FROM OTHER TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE COULD NOT GET OVER HOW MUCH HE HAD IMPROVED IN HIS PLAY FROM LAST YEAR. THEY ALL NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN HIS SPEED AND QUICKNESS OFF THE BALL. I TOLD ALL OF THEM THAT IT WAS THE FOLKS AT VELOCITY SPORTS THAT HELPED MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IN HIS PLAY. Hey Jed and Antico,
Just wanted to let you know that Spencer and the team made the playoffs in the NC 3AA bracket and will play the first round game at Olympic (home) this Friday, Nov 14 at 7 pm. We would enjoy seeing you guys out if it fits your schedule.
Spencer has had a great year. He ended the regular season with 69 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. He was only 1 tackle behind our team leader the middle linebacker. He has played both D Line and Offensive Guard fulltime since the 3 rd game of the season out of necessity. We wonder what his stats would have been if he could have only focused on defense and we did not have to rest him a couple of series on defense each game to give him some strength in the 4th quarter. I have no doubt that his strength, explosion and endurance is accredited to you two and the rest of the Velocity staff. We are optimistic he will get a chance to play at the next level.
We invite you guys out to see him play this week, but I mostly wanted to thank you for helping him achieve his goals. You two and the staff have been great coaches, motivators, mentors and friends, which Spencer has valued greatly.
We have several other children that you will most likely see in the near future as we have now seen the results of the Velocity way!

I THOUGHT I WOULD LET YOU KNOW HOW JARED IS DOING THIS SO FAR THIS YEAR IS HIS WRESTLING. HIS RECORD IS 18-0 IN HIS DIVISION AND WEIGHT CLASS. HE WRESTLES IN THE JUNIOR DIVISION 140LBS. THIS PAST WEEKEND HE CAME IN FIRST PLACE AT THE NC USA STATE WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS. HIS WRESTLING SEASON WILL NOT END UNTIL THE END OF APRIL OR THE MIDDLE OF MAY. WE STILL HAVE THE SOUTHERN CHAMIONSHIP AND THE NATIONALS TO GO BUT HE WILL BE READY FOR THEM. THANK YOU ALL FOR WORKING WITH JARED THIS YEAR HE HAS REALLY BECOME A BETTER ATHELETE IN FOOTBALL AND WRESTLING. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL AFTER WRESTLING IS OVER.

My name is Kristen Mercer and I started working out with Velocity trainers in February of 2008. I have worked out most of my life and have done everything from working out with personal trainers, to being on my own at the YMCA and even training and running a half marathon. I have NEVER had as challenging a workout and never achieved the results I have had with Velocity. They make you feel like you are working one on one with them even if you’re in a class of 10. For a reference point, in late May, early June of 2008, I broke my collar bone in 3 places and had to have a plate and 10 screws put in to mend it back together. I couldn’t go to Velocity for 8 weeks! When I did come back, I couldn’t work my upper body and was very weak but all the trainers found a way to let me take the class and do only lower body workouts. Then, when I could finally work out my upper body, they tailored it to work with me without taking away from the other people in the class. This injury was supposed to have me down for at least 8 months, potentially a year. I was back to full steam in 6 months and I 100% believe this was due to Velocity. All of the trainers at Velocity will push you to achieve what you want and are extremely qualified. I primarily work with Tim Gibson and wouldn’t feel right not mentioning him as he trains me at the 5:30 a.m. class and I do feel I owe him thanks for the results I have achieved with toning by body and gaining strength. I’ve definitely changed the way my body fits in my clothes and look forward to swimsuit season (never have I said that!). He continues to challenge me and do new things even after a year of being with Velocity. He pushes me beyond where I thought I could ever go with my workouts and I look forward to seeing what Tim and Velocity have in store for 2009.
Hi Jim,
I wanted to let you know that we were very pleased with the progress that Zackery had from the Dev. I training. He will use the knowledge, techniques and self confidence he gained for a lifetime. He did make his middle school baseball team. We would like for Zack to continue his training after the baseball season. Hopefully, beginning in May.

To the Velocity Team,
I wanted to say thank you to the Velocity team for a very special reason. My son Brandon started the spring 11/12 baseball league in our town and was scouted for a challenge team during the very first practice. The team consists of 11 of the the best players from the local league. The team's coach approached us after the practice and said he wanted Brandon on the team!
We attribute this directly to the training that Brandon has received at Velocity. He has completed about 6 sessions over about a month and a half. Brandon moves better and is more athletic on the field, has more power and much improved running technique. He is a better player now, because he has more athletic ability. This helped him to stand out from the other players and be noticed.
Brandon's dream is to play baseball. To play at as high a level as he can attain. Velocity is moving him closer to achieving that dream in measurable ways. Your coaches are incredibly qualified, gifted, professional, and caring.Thanks for doing what you do so well!
