Biography

Mike Quick, a five-time all pro, is a local legend that has played football for over two decades of his life.  He prepared for his professional career at North Carolina State University where he made history as the leading receiver with 116 catches for 1,934 yards.  In 1982, Mike was the #1 draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles franchise where he then spent his entire 10-year NFL career.  As one of the premier players in the NFL, Mike’s dedication and talent paved the way in setting countless records. He was voted to the Pro Bowl for five straight years, over the course of 5 seasons he caught more TD passes (53) than any other NFL player, and in 1986 he was voted  Eagles’ offensive MVP by his teammates.  Mike has spent the last 8 years as the radio analyst for the Philadelphia Eagles on WYSP Radio, the Philadelphia Eagles flagship station, and has volunteered for several local organizations.  Mike joined the Velocity Sports Performance team in June 2006 and is a driving force to help educate both athletes and parents about the importance of sports performance training.
