. He was graduated the captain of the football, basketball and track teams respectively. He was the only athlete in his school to do three sports for four years straight. Dan earned a scholarship to the University of Missouri-Rolla to play tail back and return kickoffs. Dan started two years at UMR and returned kicks for 15 games out of his 40 game career. Dan is the current record holder for kickoff return yardage in a career at UMR. He also was a two year letterman on the UMR track and field team where he was 100m runner and long and triple jumper. He graduated UMR with a B.S. in Business and Management Information Systems with a minor in Information Science & Technology.
Dan came across Velocity Sports Performance as he was training for the 2007 NFL combine and started training at the facility in
Chesterfield
,
MO.
His forty dropped from a 4.8 to a 4.5, his vertical jump increased from 33.5 to 39, and his pro-agility went from 4.3 to 3.97. Velocity has proven to be an effective product in his mind. His personality, athleticism and experiences in sports allow him to build extraordinary relationships with young athletes. These relationships allow him to motivate athletes in much different way than other coaches. He brings eclecticism to the Velocity Sports Performance Chesterfield Staff, where he is the Operations Coordinator and a Sports Performance Coach.
