Community Relations Manager
Reports To: Director of Recruiting
Job Responsibilities: The Community Relations Manager is primarily focused on off-site sales efforts. This individual is responsible for outsides sales of individual, group, and team training contracts. The Customer Relations Manager will lead initiatives generating athlete interest (leads) by establishing and implementing off-site marketing and promotion programs.
Most Important Monthly Contribution: Generate leads with sponsorships and team trial sessions.
Objectives:
1. Administer Outside Sales Activities:

Objectives:
1. Administer Outside Sales Activities:
- Schedule events and assign additional personnel (if necessary)
- Organize marketing materials
- Document all event activity
- Follow-up from event
2. Foster Sponsorships and Partnership Contracts:
- Meet with leaders in local clubs, organizations, and leagues to promote VSP value
- Set 5-10 appointments for meetings, presentations, or demonstrations
- Schedule clinics and special events
- Manage activities and generate prospect information
- Follow up with prospects to schedule individual trials
3. Drive Team Trail and Team Training schedules:
- Meet with leaders of local teams and clubs to promote VSP value
- Schedule team trial sessions (for teams with 12 – 20 athletes)
- Manage trial sessions and generate prospect information
- Follow up with prospects to schedule individual trials
4. Attend Community Events:
- Schedule VSP to be a presence at local community special events, promotions and community activities for schools, parks, festivals, recreational leagues and local events to generate leads
- Attend 4 - 8 community events per month
- Research events, give info to Director of Recruiting, post events on calendar
- Contact event organizers to determine if VSP may contribute to the event and/or setup an educational booth
- Schedule additional personnel and resources as needed
5. Assist with Marketing and Advertising Initiatives:
- Help with the development of a community relations program
- Identify and implement advertising plan for community segments
- Manage website, newsletters, and marketing communicating pieces as they pertain to community relations
