Biography

Prima Elam comes to Velocity Sports after spending nine years as an Insurance Agent. Prima's primary passion is volleyball and coaching youth sports. Currently, Prima is the Setting/Defensive Coach at Skyline College in San Bruno. Prima is also the founder of Core Volleyball Club, and has 15 years of coaching experience and 20 years of playing experience. Her playing experience includes Sacramento City College. As a member of the Sacramento City College team, she played opposite and helped the team finish 4th in the State of California. Prima then went on to finish her volleyball and academic career at Cal State Hayward. Prima has the following certifications:
 
  • Impact Certified–USA Volleyball
  • Currently enrolled in Cap I and II Certification
  • Gold Medal Squared Certified
  • Positive Coaching Alliance
