Class Descriptions
Warm-up: each class begins with an active dynamic warm-up. This portion of the workout focuses on warming up the muscles of the body through exercise which focus on improving athletic coordination, balance and relative strength, muscular movement patterns and injury prevention.
Movement: one movement concept will be the focus for each workout
- Acceleration: starting mechanics, pure acceleration and transition
- Max Velocity: top speed runnning mechanics, combining highest stride frequency and optimal stride length
- Multidirectional: the ability to execute a complex chain of multidirectional movements in a fast and graceful manner
Strength: learn to produce greater force, force in less time, force through optimal Range of Motion, reduce the chance of injury, learn safety, technique and etiquette
Strength Exercises:
- Power Clean
- Snatch
- Clean and Jerk
- Squat
*youth classes are 60 minutes
*d-1 & d-2 classes are 90 minutes
*adult classes are 60 minutes
*all classes will be in a group setting with an 8 to 1 ratio; 8 athletes to 1 coach
