Adult Fitness
This program is for the adult population. Clients that participate typically are trying to stay healthy and active, lose weight, stay in shape and/or try a new type of training. Clients can be in their low 20’s to upper 70’s. Because of the wide age ranges, skill ranges, and injury histories, the coach must be very flexible. The program is designed with this flexibility aspect in mind and allows for greater levels of variation than the student-athlete programs.
It is the coach’s responsibility to choose which active dynamic warm-up, ESD workout, and strength workout the group will perform each session. This decision is based upon the dynamics of the group attending that session. The age, fitness level, and needs of each athlete in the group will be taken into consideration when making the decision. If the coach is not familiar with a large percentage of the athletes attending that session, he/she will defer to the Sports Performance Director for recommendations. Once this is determined, the coach will plan the workout accordingly. Here is a summary of major points for Adult Fitness athletes:
2. 60 minute program.
3. Overall fitness, weight loss, aesthetic focus.
4. Pre/Progress testing and metabolic testing done as requested.
5. Average of 6 athletes to 1 coach (can be as high as 8:1).

7. Modular component system, composed of Active Dynamic Warm Up, ESD, Strength.
8. Fun, but can also be exhausting.
9. Coach determines component types/workout structure based on the make-up of the group.
