Marty Clary is also the owner of Major League Physical Therapy.  A three sport athlete in high school, Marty played basketball and baseball in the Big Ten conference for Northwestern University.  He signed a professional baseball contract for the Atlanta Braves in 1983.  Injuries to his pitching arm shortened his career; however athletics remains an important part of his life.  As a physical therapist, he has treated many athletes, including professional hockey and football players.  His goal in bringing Velocity Sports Performance to the upstate is to create a business that identifies and eliminates critical weakness in others, thus allowing them to maximize their potential in whatever athletic endeavor they choose.  Nothing is more satisfying and esteem-building that to know you have done the most with what you have, and Marty believes Velocity Sports Performance will do that for each individual entering the program.
