Coach Moore comes to Velocity from the Arena Football League.  Lamont played seven seasons of arena football, making stops in Orlando, New Orleans, and Dallas.  During his career, he received several ironman and defensive player of the week awards.   Lamont attended Baylor University where he received is Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  As a Baylor Bear, he played his first two seasons at quarterback before moving to wide receiver his junior and senior year.

 

Lamont attended Waxahachie High School where his personal best was 35-4 as starting quarterback.  He was named Dallas Morning News Metro Player of the Year after his senior season.  He has been active in several charities through the years, including Breast Cancer Awareness, Youth Mentoring Programs, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program.
