Position: Sports Performance Marketing/Sales Intern

The purpose of the internship at Velocity Sports Performance is to educate participants in all aspects of marketing and Velocity Sports Performance franchise. This is a non-paid internship with opportunities for incentives.
Interns will assist the Marketing Director in marketing Velocity Sports Performance through web-based media, local sporting events, and print publications. Interns will be provided with in-depth, hands-on business training. The Velocity Sports Performance Marketing Intern will be the direct liaison between the Velocity Irvine and the target population throughout Southern Orange County. The Marketing Intern will be trained to maintain and update the local Velocity website. Other responsibilities will include assisting with news releases, representing Velocity Sports Performance at local youth sporting events, and working with print publications in the design and placement of advertisements. In addition, each intern will be required to develop and implement a camp or specific to Velocity Sports Performance & Nike standards. Detailed guidance will be provided.
