Dianne Switzer

Biography

Dianne Switzer's 22 years in healthcare finance, new business development and operations brings a fresh dynamic to the Velocity franchise.  Switzer began her health care career in operations management for Mississippi Surgical Center, which grew to over $21,000,000 in annual revenue during her tenure.  Through various corporate acquisitions, Switzer has served in both ambulatory management and development for Medical Care International, Columbia HCA and Healthsouth Corporation.  She was promoted to Vice-President of Ambulatory Services for Healthsouth.  Her experience there included facility management and development for Ambulatory Surgery, Diagnostic, Physical Therapy and Occupational Medicine facilities.  The formation of Switzer's business, Healthcare Development and Consulting in 2000, led her to Joining Good Samaritan Physical Therapy as their CFO in 2002.  Her strengths in facilitating partnerships with physicians and healthcare entities proved to be a catalyst in the growth and expansion of the organization. 
 
Switzer graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.  She is the wife of Jack Switzer and has raised 4 children who have all been active in sports, church activities and community organizations. 
 
Switzer's membership in the Federal Ambulatory Surgical Association has provided opportunities for career growth through continuing education.  She has been committed to giving back to her community through service on various committees and directorships for charitable organizations.  She currently serves on the board of directors of Hand to hand, an organization committed to providing healthcare services and supplies to the medically underserved population of our state.
