VELOCITY SPORTS PERFORMANCE in LAKELAND, FLORIDA is proud to host its first NFL DRAFT PREPARATION
International Level Coach Rich Lansky took over as the center's Sports Performance Director in August of this year and one of his main priorities was to move his successful Combine Training Program from Sarasota, Florida to Velocity in Lakeland.
" Both myself and the staff are excited to have Velocity Sports Performance be the host for the 2009-2010 NFL Combine and Draft Preparation Program. The air-conditioned facility here in Lakeland will allow us to take our proven training methodology to the next level of succcess!", Coach Lansky stated.
"In addition, the benefits of an indoor track, a 40 yd longx15 yd wide sprint turf area, and the vertimax and dartfisth technology to our program allows us to add an additional dimension to our training and conditioning program!"
"Having the use of a full-service sports medicine rehab and recovery center run by Dr. Zamzow also ensures that our players will receive the very best recovery and regeneration treatment between our tough, training sessions."
Even more exciting is the added availability of the brand new sprint turf outdoor football field down the street which will allow our skills and position coaches to work on the full spectrum of football specific drills and techniques."
In addition to this year's combine prep class, many of the NFL athletes that Coach Lansky has worked with over the past ten years are planning to spend the off-season training at the Lakeland Velocity.
