Becca Bush

Position: Sports Performance Coach

Biography

Coach Bush graduated from Southern Utah University in 2008. She earned her B.S. in Physical Education and Human Development with an emphasis in Exercise Science.
 
While pursuing her degree at SUU she was a primary contributor to the Track and Field Team, serving as captain for 2 years. She became an all-conference athlete and competed in the 100m & 400m hurdle events, as well as the high jump. In 2007 she helped lead her team to a conference championship. Her final season she also competed in the multi events, finishing as runner-up in the indoor pentathlon at the Summit League Championships (formerly the Mid-Continent Conference), and also competing in the heptathlon in the outdoor season.
 
Coach Bush has a passion for athletics and has been involved in them for much of her life. She prepped at Forest Grove High School in Oregon where she was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and track and field. She continued her prep career at American Fork High School in Utah her senior year.
 
Coach Bush loves working with athletes and helping them get to the next level in their athletic endeavors. She is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
