Biography

  • A Paramus native and graduate of William Paterson College with a degree in Exercise and Movement Science
  • Certified by the NATA and the NSCA
  • 2 years as the Performance Enhancement Director at the Ice House Athletic Performance Center in Hackensack, NJ
  • 7 years with the NY Islanders as the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainer
  • Founded Donellan Sports Performance, a sports conditioning center where he trained athletes from the NHL, AHL, NCAA Division I, Arena Football League and professional boxing
  • Served as a conditioning consultant to the NY Dragons Arena Football Team, NY Apple Core Junior hockey team and various other high school sports teams
  • Lectured for the NSCA, Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society, USA Hockey, US Figure Skating Association, and many local school and community workshops
