Football Combine Training

Every year colleges around the country sponsor camps and combines for high school football players.  At these combines, athletes are tested for their speed, agility, power and strength while being watched by college coaches who are looking for new recruits.  These combines are a great way to get noticed, but this is your chance to be seen, so you better be ready to perform.   The tests include the 40-yard dash, pro-agility, vertical jump, and a 185lb bench press (max reps).  In order to do your best, you must prepare  for these tests with professionals who know how to maximize your results.

Velocity Sports is offering a special training program designed to educate and train football players to prepare for Combines.  We have successfully prepared numerous athletes who have been offered Division 1 scholarships.  A major focus of our training is technique.  For the 40 yd dash, we will teach you how to start and accelerate to maximize the critical first 10 yards and utilize proper mechanics through the finish line.  For the pro-agility, we will show you how to eliminate wasted movements and change direction quickly.  For the vertical jump, we will show you to explode through your hips to gain maximal height. And we'll develop your strength and technique to gain several extra repetitions in the bench press.
