Marketing Intern

Reports to: Internship Coordinator
 
The purpose of the Marketing Internship is to educate participants in all aspects of marketing a Velocity Sports Performance center, while also providing real-world experience and practical networking opportunities. Our desired outcome is to eventually place interns in a full-time position a at a Velocity Sports Performance center in the network upon their graduation.
 
Job Summary:
Interns will assist the Community Relations manager in marketing Velocity Sports Performance and educating prospective athletes at local events, either on or off-site.  Interns will also be provided hands-on business and marketing training. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participates in on and off-site event preparation, execution, and analysis
  • Observes and shadows customer inquiry response
  • Attends sales meetings
  • Supports sales staff with updating prospect and client files
  • Completes all assigned trainings in a timely and concise manner
  • Adheres to Velocity Sports Performance’s dress code and behavior requirements
