Coach Mario is a native of
Jackson
,
MS
. He attended the
University
Of
Southern Mississippi
where he was a four year letter-men on the men's basketball team. After graduating with a degree in coaching and sports administration Mario decided to further his career of playing basketball. Mario took his Basketball career overseas to the small
island
of
Iceland
where he played one season and then returned to back to the States. After returning, Mario then played on several minor league teams in the
US
. While playing in these leagues Mario saw first hand of the importance of strength and conditioning and decided to further his career in strength and conditioning and Performance Training. Mario is very happy to be a part of the velocity family and hopes that he can further his knowledge while he is preparing to be the best coach he can be and continue to help educate every athlete that he teaches.
