About the Facility

Our state-of-the-art training facility is  designed to meet the needs of professional, elite, and adult athletes. Our Center boasts 13,000 square feet and includes 6,000 square feet of turf, 40 yard running track, fully equipped Olympic Weight Room and a Sports Medicine practice on site.  We have Men's and Women's showers and towel service.
The training programs are developed with the help of world-renowned sports performance coaches who have coached numerous elite and professional athletes, as well as collegiate national champions and All-Americans. They assist in the ongoing development of programs which are scientifically designed to improve speed, power and agility.
At Velocity, we are manically focused on our athletes, dedicated to finding methods to help all of our athletes, both competitive and adults, to compete and succeed while staying healthy.
Everything we do at Velocity is individualized to each athlete.  This includes the middle school athlete trying get more athletic to make the town team, the high school athlete who desires to make the most of their athletic potential, the college athlete preparing to compete at a higher level or an adult who wants to make changes in their body composition.   It all starts with our complementary Strategy Session where we go deep onto each athletes "why" to make sure we understand their goals.  We then can determine the best course of action to get them there!

Programs Offered

Sports Performance

Our Sports Performance training starts with athletes ages  8-11 who join our Fundamental Program where we introduce and create foundations of overall athleticism in a fun, positive, and high-success environment.

Athletes ages 12-14 join our Accelerated Program where we focus on progressing and maintaining athletic movement while refining and ingraining fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power.

Athletes ages 15-18 join our Competitive Program.   During the 90 minute Competitive sessions, training begins to resemble sporting demands. Competitive programs focus on repeated application of learned athleticism to create mastery. 

The dedicated high school athlete can also join our Max Athlete Development Program which adds even more individualization to each training session.

Sports Specific

While training at STACK Velocity Sports Performance will help make anyone a better athlete, our programs also have specific benefits for players of all sports. Get a jump on your competition with Velocity Sports Performance. Our one-of-a-kind programs, bolstered by our certified coaches, and elite curriculum, help athletes become quicker, stronger, and more explosive.

Adult Fitness

Our Adult Fitness programs are the most comprehensive in the area.  Our programs are designed for adults looking for a challenging training program. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a weekend warrior or just looking to stay active, our classes will challenge you. No two sessions are alike, and all are fun, fast-paced, and educational. The result is an increase in fitness as well as improved metabolism, body composition, and exercise technique.  We offer small group training sessions and individualized progressive resistance programing.  As part of our adult program, we now offer CrossFit Black Widow.

Professional and Collegiate Athletes

The STACK Velocity Sports Performance programs for professional and elite athletes are designed to provide peak physical stimulus that pushes the absolute limitations of elite athletic performance. Due to the customized and maximal intensity nature, recovery and regeneration methods are implemented. Our programs place the highest emphasis on applied and measurable performance, secondarily fine-tuning movement. Timelines to reach goals and exceed expectations are accelerated for this athletic population due to the elite competitive schedules and real-time demands.  We have special summer programs for incoming freshmen and collegiate athletes.

Team Training

Velocity recognizes that in order to build a winning team you need to develop, and integrate, the athleticism of all athletes. Team training is one way to insure that all athletes are working together for the good of the team. Training may be conducted as an "extra" practice during the season or better yet, invite a Velocity Performance Coach to join the team at a regularly scheduled practice. Together, players can learn some new strategies for making them faster, more explosive athletes. Whether it's a single session you're looking for or repeated opportunities to have our Performance Coaches work alongside your coaches, we're here to help take your game to the next level.  Team training at Stack Velocity includes testing and progress tracking.  Training sessions can be executed at your location (high school weight room for example) or at our center in Norwood.

Football Combine Training

 If you are a high school football player who wants to get ready for showcase events or college players looking to prepare for the NFL Combine or your Pro Day Stack Velocity is the place for you to train.  We offer a highly individualized and stimulating  training environment.  We utilize the MORR Performance Training System developed by Chip Smith Performance and we can address all of your needs in preparing you for your big day.

Quarterback Skills Coaching

 Quarterback throwing mechanics instruction is based on the laws of physics and uses such to identify efficient throwing patterns. The mechanics taught are those that emphasize force development from the ground up and allow efficient energy transfer through the connecting segments of the body and eventually to the ball. These result in maximum ball velocity, accuracy, and injury prevention.  Equally important to throwing for quarterbacks is pocket movement and awareness, offensive and defensive strategy, and general athleticism, all of which are featured in training.
