About the Facility
Our state-of-the-art training facility is designed to meet the needs of professional, elite, and adult athletes. Our Center boasts 13,000 square feet and includes 6,000 square feet of turf, 40 yard running track, fully equipped Olympic Weight Room and a Sports Medicine practice on site.
The training programs are developed with the help of world-renowned sports performance coaches who have coached numerous elite and professional athletes, as well as collegiate national champions and All-Americans. They assist in the ongoing development of programs which are scientifically designed to improve speed, power and agility.
At Velocity, we are manically focused on our athletes, dedicated to finding methods to help all of our athletes, both competitive and adults, to compete and succeed while staying healthy.
Ages 8-11 (Fundamental)
Our Youth curriculum places a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative strength and the introduction of essential muscular movement
patterns. These are vital in establishing a child's athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation. Get information on pricing options
Ages 12-14 (Accelerated Performance)
In this second stage, athletes have discovered the importance of developing neuromuscular patterns. Athletic fundamentals begin to be developed and directed towards
athletic skill application in our Developmental I program. This program focuses on progressing and maintaining athletic movement while refining and ingraining fundamental
skills of speed, agility, and power. This repeated rehearsal leads to permanent and positive athletic change.
Ages 15-18 (Competitive Performance)
Most athletes in this age group have developed neuromuscular patterns and the fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. For Developmental II athletes, technique is
fine-tuned, and the final pieces to build the total athlete are provided. In essence, each athlete is optimized according to their biggest areas of improvement.
Sport Specific Performance Training
Velocity Sports Performance Sport Specific Training is designed with the serious High School Athlete in mind. This program utilizes the latest in strength and conditioning research and program design, combined with a comprehensive needs analysis of the physical demands of your specific sport. We have created an integrated strength and conditioning system that will enhance work capacity and improve overall athleticism while simultaneously reducing the likelihood of injury.
