What to Expect
Functional Fit offers an hour packed full of whole-body movement based training. You will benefit from our Performance Coaches who are trained to recognize and correct key restrictions and imbalances that are holding you back from a meaningful level of fitness. Research shows that whole body movement improves strength, balance, and exercise metabolism better than typical machine based training found at most fitness facilities. No class is ever the same and you will be surprised how much fun you have working out, using unique tools previously reserved for professional athletes.
Performance Prep
Our warm-up is unique and different. It is an Active Dynamic Warm-up that is built around functional, whole-body movement rather than isolating one muscle group at a time. These dynamic movements are designed to develop flexibility, balance, joint mobility, and coordination. Additionally, the moderate pace raises and maintains your heart rate to promote optimal calorie burning. This type of warm-up is best for preparing your joints and muscles for greater levels of activity.
Strength
Our clients build stronger and higher functioning bodies by using an assortment of strength training methods including bodyweight, medicine ball, and dumbbell resisted exercises. For added variety, our training system also incorporates strength circuits and combined sets of exercises. The result is a progressive increase in lean muscle mass, a more active metabolism, and higher resistance to injury.
Endurance
We call endurance training Energy System Development. Using low-impact movements like running and shuffling, you will build both aerobic and anaerobic fitness levels. This is designed to maximize your exercise metabolic rate, which helps you efficiently burn more calories, and ultimately helps improve body composition.

What to Expect
Our Performance Coaches start each session with a progression of dynamic warm-up exercises, followed by components of strength, power and endurance training. The rest of the session are exercises for your core muscles and finishes with a cool down period.
