Denise Thomas

Biography

Denise, an English native, came to the United States in 2000 after receiving a soccer scholarship from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). During her time at CCSU she received a BS in Sociology with a minor in Communication as well as gaining several accolades on the soccer field.

               In 2003 she was an integral member of the Blue Devil squad that made school history after notching a 1-0 victory over Boston College, making CCSU Women’s Soccer the first ever team in Blue Devils history to make the NCAA 2nd Round.

 

Following a successful career at CCSU, Denise went on to complete a MS in Exercise Physiology at Long Island University (LIU).

 

Denise has played soccer at every level from club, collegiate, semi-professional, to international. As a regular member of the Irish National Team she has tallied 23 caps and played in numerous competitions against some of the best teams and players in the world.

 

 Denise recently completed a two-year spell with NCAA DI Long Island University Blackbirds where she served as a Graduate Assistant to the Women’s Soccer team.
