Ed Walls is the President of Black Watch Investments, Inc., and managing member of Black Watch Sports Performance, LLC. Prior to acquiring the Orlando market for Velocity Sports Performance, Ed worked 20 years for top industry leaders both domestically and internationally, focusing on acquisitions and turnarounds. He is passionate about sports and what they will do for the development of any individual. During Ed’s collegiate career he played both football and baseball for Division I-AA Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. His accomplishments at APSU include Team Captain, Associated Press All-American Linebacker, All Ohio Valley Conference Linebacker, Runner-up Defensive Player of the Year, National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Inductee, Austin Peay State University Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee, University Board of Trustees, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Earl Walton Leadership Award, and pitcher for the Southern Division Baseball Champions. Ed holds a BBA in Business Administration from APSU. Ed also is a member of the Florida Hospital Foundation Board-Apopka and has lived in Florida since 1999 with his wife, Denise, and their four children.
