Biography

Prior to joining the Velocity Sports Performance Team, Coach Gary Bradley had several years of experience as a 3 sport athlete in football, baseball & Basketball. 
 
He joined the Virginia Army National Guard after school and the following year was activated to serve in the military during Operation Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom.   
 
Collegiately Coach Gary Bradley was a baseball walk-on at Mars Hill College in North Carolina.  He received his Personal Training Certification through American Fitness Professional Association.  He graduated from Blue Ridge Community College  and again in James Madison University’s Kinesiology/Exercise Science program.  He soon was involved in sport specific training which evolved into implementing periodized programs involving combinations of speed and agility training, power lifting and body building techniques.  Coach Bradley has over 12 years of personal and group training experience and has trained clients from all walks of life including military personnel and athletes.  
 
While at JMU, he worked with both the baseball and track and field programs as a volunteer strength and conditioning coach.  Additionally he has 3 years as a Physical Therapy Technician at Augusta Medical Center performing physical rehabilitation in both outpatient and inpatient therapy departments.
