Youth Program

The Youth Program is designed to teach basic athletic skills to students ages 7-11 while creating a fun, positive atmosphere. The program helps students develop during their growth years.

 

 During a Youth Program, fundamental skills are taught with a variety of exercises, activities, and games. This is done to reinforce correct technique while catering to shorter attention spans of youth athletes.

 

The program consists of 60-minute sessions, which the students attend between 2-3 times a week. Students train in groups of eight or less. The students are introduced to strength exercises, correct running form, acceleration and multidirectional techniques.

 

Sessions Include:

 

1)    Active Dynamic Warm-Up: a series of stretching, mobility, and coordination   drills to activate muscles, elevate heart rate and prepare the body to move

 

  

2)    Cardiovascular Conditioning: a series of exercises which will focus on general fitness and cardiovascular stamina

 

3)   Strength Training:introduction to basic strength and core stability techniques
