Our Occupational Athletes must be able to sustain peak performance when duty calls.  An Occupational Athlete's day is never the same and their performance is critical.  Firefighters, Police Officers and Military need to be prepared for any situation.  Why should Occupational Athletes participate in the Velocity adult training program?
 
INJURY PREVENTION-  Every workout starts with mobility, flexibility and injury prevention.  Although WODs that involve lifts and extreme tasks may be trendy, they also cause injury more often than not. ViP at Velocity is an intelligent athlete's choice.  Our goals is to always keep you on the job by improve strength, stamina and flexibility and by reducing injuries. 
 
ENERGY SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT- ESD or cardiovascular conditioning develops the stamina an occupational athlete needs to remain effective during on the job challenges.  ESD work is essential to your preparation in order to insure optimal on the job performance.
 
STRENGTH AND POWER- Our goal is to mimic your natural state of chaos when you are on the job by having you use your entire body in a dynamic environment.  Our strength and power program employs free weights, a closed kinetic chain, bilateral and unilateral training, explosiveness and multi-segmental training.
