Velocity believes every athlete should have the chance to safely and successfully pursue their sports dreams.  Our training programs combine injury prevention with performance enhancement and can be delivered in a small group setting or via private training sessions.

Fundamental Training Group (Ages 8-11)
Youth athletes are in their "skill-hungry" years. The body is primed for new information and ready to ingrain new movement patterns. Fundamental Training Groups are designed to introduce and create foundations of overall athleticism in a fun, positive, and high-success environment. The curriculum places a high priority on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative strength. Early success plays a vital role in a child's enjoyment of sport.  The Fundamental Training Groups help young athletes avoid injuiry and achieve early success in sport. 
 
Accelerated Training Group (Ages 12-14)
The Accelerated Training Gorup focuses on progressing and maintaining athletic movement while refining and ingraining fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. This repeated rehearsal leads to permanent and positive athletic change.  The early teen years typically bring rapid growth which inturn leads to decreased coordination and increased chronic ailments like Osgood Schlatters and Severs disease.  A primary goal of the Accelerated Training Group is to help middle school athletes excel during this awkward phase so they are prepared to secure a spot on a competitive high school or club team.  Strength and Power training under the guidance of a strength and conditioning specialist is included in Accelerated Training Groups as a key injury prevention element.
 
Competitive Training Group (Ages 15+)
High school athletics is increasingly competitive.  Our Competitive Training Group recognizes this and gives athletes an edge by ensuring optimal speed, strength and agility.   In the Competitive Training Group, training begins to resemble sporting demands. We provide endless combinations of athletic skill training so competing in the game is effortless. In addition, focus on Strength and Power increases with moderate and heavy loads to optimize power output resulting in increased speed, vertical jump and strength.
 
ViP at Velocity Training Group (Adults)
Our ViP at Velocity sessions are designed for active adults looking for an intelligently designed and challenging training program.  The goal is to help our adults avoid acute and overuse injuries while simultaneously achieving their goals.  ViP at Velocity sessions are optimal cross training for weekend warriors and they are also the most efficient calorie burn and strength training available for busy executives and parents. 
 
Professional / Elite Athletes
The Velocity Sports Performance programs for professional and elite athletes are designed to provide peak physical stimulus that pushes the absolute limitations of elite athletic performance. Due to the customized and maximal intensity nature, recovery and regeneration methods are implemented. Our programs place the highest emphasis on applied and measurable performance, secondarily fine-tuning movement. Timelines to reach goals and exceed expectations are accelerated for this athletic population due to the elite competitive schedules and real-time demands.
 
Team Training
Our Team Training programs are designed to deliver a challenging workout that is organized, educational, progressive, and customized for entire sport teams. Training sessions are typically conducted at the team's training facility and focus primarily on linear speed and multi-directional skill development. Team Training programs are built to be sport relevant with medicine ball strengthening, bodyweight resisted power development, energy system development, and speed ratios that apply directly to specific sports demands.
