Biography
In 2001, Bloom won the NorAm Moguls and started off the 2002 season on the C team for the United States. Working his way up the ski circuit, he competed in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City where he finished ninth in moguls.
Bloom eventually returned to the football field at the University of Colorado and became the first team freshman All-American in football — and in 2002 made the record books by executing the longest pass reception in CU history at 94 yards against KSU for a touchdown.
Following the Olympics, Jeremy Bloom concentrated on a football career and became a fifth-round draft pick for the Philadelphia Eagles - who signed the 5-foot-9 and 172 pound athlete to a four-year contract in July 2006.
