Biography
Henry is a nationally ranked US Senior Olympics and USATF Masters sprinter, currently in the 65-69 age group who started training at Velocity Sports, Redondo Beach, in 2005. So far in 2008 he has put in winning performance in both of his events, the 100m and 200m, winning gold at both the California State Senior Olympics Championships in June, 2008, and the USATF Masters West Region Championships a month later. By winning the 2008 State Senior Olympics, Henry qualified for the 2009 National Senior Olympics which will take place in the San Francisco area in August, 2009. His personal best times are 13.14 and 27.38 in the 100m and 200m respectively. His goal is to better his times to a sub-13.0 in the 100m and a sub-27.0 in the 200m and to compete at the 2009 Masters World Games in Sydney, Australia in October, 2009.
