Biography

Chrissie Zartman is the daughter of "Sharkie" Zartman, a former beach player and member of UCLA's first National Championship team. Her older sister, Teri, also plays on the AVP Tour. A second-team All-American in 2005 as one of the top liberos. At the age of 13, became the youngest player to earn a AAA beach rating. Won Junior Olympic Gold medals in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Was a Silver Medalist at the 2001 Post-Olympic International Tournament in Sydney, Australia (with Tracy Lindquist), and at the FIVB Under 21 World Championships in 2002 (with Keao Burdine). Won the Gold medal at the 2002 World University Games, and finished fourth in the 2004 FISU World University Beach Volleyball Championship in Thailand (both with Lindquist).
