Miranda Biteler

Biography

Coach Biteler brings her intelligence and hard work to Velocity Sports Performance with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance with a Business and Coaching minor from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Miranda studied as a student health marketing intern, where she was able to coordinate programs and perform fitness tests for health awareness and wellness. As a performance coach for Hustle in Minnesota, Miranda coached athletes on movements of speed, power, and agility, while educating them on proper weight lifting techniques. She further expanded her education to help individuals learn about nutrition, performance training, and fitness as a personal trainer and assistant manager at Chanhassen Fitness Center. She guided individuals through fitness programs and motivated them to achieve their personal goals.
 
Being an athlete herself, Miranda understands what it takes to keep that edge on your game.  She played on the UW-RF Women’s basketball team for four years, leading as Team Captain and starter for 3 years.  She also competed in track and field.  To further her love of the game, she started coaching as a personal basketball instructor and as a basketball camp coach at 43 Hoops Inc. in Minnesota.
 
Coach Biteler holds many academic awards including Dean’s List and WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll 2002-2006.  She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the NSCA.
