Coach Kita comes to Velocity from Coaching the Quitman High School Softball Team where she lead them to a #2 State ranking in 2A softball, undefeated district season and a 30-2 overall record. 

 

Coach Kita graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology where she played Division 1 Softball.  Coach Kita was 1st team All-Conference Centerfielder for NJCAA World Series qualifying Texarkana College before transferring to UNT.

 

She has worked softball camps with Olympians Natasha Watley and Taira Flowers.  During the summers she coaches for Texas Sting 16U travel softball team.
