Dan is a native of Palos Park, IL with a degree from Northern Illinois University in Preventive and Rehabilitative Exercise Science and is a proven success story of the Velocity Sports Performance method. Dan tied the record (7th all-time) for most appearances in a single season and lead the team and the MAC conference in ERA amongst relievers. He ranked #2 in pitcher power ratings in the Great Lakes region and 84th nationally in the scouting service "statstud.com" amoung Division 1 pitchers in 2008. Dan was also selected as MVP in the IHSA State Championship game as he hurled a complete game one-hitter facing just one batter over the minimum. During his collegiate career he received many awards on and off the field. His awards include 4-time "Huskie Scholar" and was nominated for MAC pitcher of the week. He was also selected as NSCA All-American for 2008 being known as the "first to arrive in the weight room and the last to leave". Dan is currently seeking his CSCS certification.
