Carole Altmann serves as the Assistant Center Director of the Tinley Park Velocity Center. She lives in Homer Glen with her husband, Walter (Center Director/Co-Owner), and her three children, Joshua, Kaitlyn and Samantha. Carole was a swimmer and state qualifier at Andrew H.S. graduating from ISU with a Deaf Education Degree, Carole taught and coached high school and age group swim teams. She has been the Learn to Swim Coordinator at both Andrew H.S. and Lincoln Way Central H.S. and enjoys being the first step in coaching and teaching new athletes. In addition to working at Velocity, Carole is an Adult Fitness client who trains on a consistent basis to keep her in shape and ready for competition (triathlons, 5Ks, 1/2 marathons, and potentially another marathon).  

"Velocity training is challenging, motivational, organized, and focused. It has helped me to gain more strength, speed and flexibility and has remedied me of my injuries. I can only imagine the goals I could have achieved in my younger days if I had a Velocity Training Facility to work out at..... I guess I'll have to set some future goals to achieve!"
