Walter Altmann serves as the Center Director/Part Owner of the Tinley Park Velocity Center!  He lives in Homer Glen with his lovely wife Carole and his 3 children Joshua, Kaitlyn, and Samantha. Prior to starting Velocity, Walter was a high school teacher at Thornwood H.S. for 13 years. However, his passion has always been athletics. He has coached for 24 years at the high school level as well as elite travel orginizations in baseball, fastpitch softball, and basketball. In addition, he has conducted numerous coaching clinics, hosted various tournaments, and even traveled to Europe with elite youth travel teams. " I am so excited to be able to bring Velocity to the people in our Cook/Will County area because it will give them such a competitive advantage, I wish I had this available to me when I was younger"!!  Outside of Velocity, he spends alot of his time at his church, Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park where he serves as the Chairman of the Elder Board and he also facilitates marriage enrichment weekends for hundreds of couples throughout the area!
