Nelson, thank the Velocity staff for me. I enjoyed our players having professionals come down and let our kids know they are on the right path to success. I watched closely as your coaches worked with the kids. They were outstanding! Lakewood players were trained the proper way and each of my athletes thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff from Velocity was outstanding and the equipment top shelf!

 

 

Hi, Dan! I just wanted to thank everyone there, the trainers were all great! He made Mitey Mite weight (horray!), from the time he started Velocity till now he has lost 14lbs., almost a pound a week.

He now recognizes that by making healthier choices, working out and cutting out the junk, it has gotten him the results he wants and his Dad and I are happy that he's learned this.

 

His Football coaches were impressed with how far his coordination skills have come, and he is happy that he is not last (nor second to last) in sprints anymore. Robert really enjoyed coming to Velocity and training.

All in all a nice life lesson learned as he transitions into his pre-teens.

 

 

Keith did very well this high school season he batted leadoff for the JV team and finished the season batting . 330, second on the team in runs scored and stolen bases. He had 3 triples and 6 doubles, he definitely had more pop in his bat this year. He was also chosen to the Toms River East Senior League All Star team and had a great tournament. Presently he is now playing for the Toms River Black Sox 18U select college prep team.
