Charity 5k Race

 

For the first time, Velocity Sports Performance will host a Charity 5K Run/Walk to support

two local foundations: The Jordan Foundation and Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley. We

greatly appreciate the services these non-profit organizations provide our community….and

we at Velocity feel its time to give back.

 

The event will take place on Saturday, June 6th. The race will start/finish at our Warminster

location; and will be followed by a buffet and Silent Auction. Proceeds from the event will

go to The Jordan Foundation and Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley:

The Jordan Foundation provides need-based boys with a Youth Intervention

Curriculum that promotes academic advancement, character development, and life

management strategies. The successful participation in this program leads to college

placement and continued follow-up support through College to ensure graduation.

Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley is dedicated to building social and emotional support

to anyone with a cancer diagnosis, either their own or that of a loved one. Gilda’s

Club is a warm, homelike meeting place for people whose lives have been touched by

cancer.

***We will meet in the parking lot directly in front of the building. We ask that you park

your cars on the side of the building.***

FUN FOR EVERYONE - Spouses, children and siblings of race participants are encouraged

to wait for the runners/walkers at our facility. Velocity coaches will organize games for

children inside our facility. We will also have Health Professionals from Advanced Medical

Solutions at the event. Adults can enjoy a relaxing massage or a consultation with one of

AMS’ Chiropractic or Acupuncturist professionals. This is also a great time to bid on the

Auction items!!!
