Brian Fee

Mr. Fee is opening an 18,000 sqft. Velocity Sports Performance training facility franchise in Elmsford, NY in February 2008 with the goal of helping to train student athletes to develop their speed, power and agility. A national organization, sponsored by Gatorade® and Nike®, Velocity Sports Performance offers programs that athletes can't find anywhere else, with the philosophy that enhanced mainstream athletic training – training similar to the type received by the pros – can create better, happier, less-injury prone athletes of all ages.
Mr. Fee has almost 20 years coaching experience in Westchester serving as Head Coach for the Archbishop Stepinac High School Varsity Lacrosse Team and as their Varsity Football Assistant Coach since 1989.This opportunity has provided him with a platform to nurture high school athletes to continue their athletic and academic training by attending prestigious colleges. His devoted counseling and coaching has assisted numerous students in obtaining vital scholarships.
Mr. Fee also has extensive experience coaching and teaching core athletic fundamentals to the youth of Westchester coaching football, lacrosse, basketball and baseball. He has continually donated his time to help Youth Lacrosse grow in Westchester school districts running camps clinics educating players, parents, and administrators on the fundamentals of the sport and the positive impact athletics can have on our youth. An educator and active member of the Positive Coaching Alliance he has helped several school districts develop improved programs. Mr. Fee has coached the Hudson Valley Under-13 Lacrosse Team which represented the region at the National level for the past two years, with great pride and distinction. In 2002 and 2007 Mr. Fee served as Head Coach for the White Plains Youth Football team and has been representative on the Board of Governors for Scarsdale Youth Football League. He has also run summer camps guiding and coaching grade school children for many years.
As the owner of three restaurants in Westchester, Finn McCool's (1993 - 2005), Dooley Mac's (2000 - 2005) and Gedney Grille (1996 - 2000), Mr. Fee has learned how to manage employees, budget expenses, operate a facility and develop a satisfied customer base. He is a seasoned professional with a realistic perspective of the commitment and consistent hard work required to operate a successful and growing business.
Growing up in Westchester Mr. Fee has planted deep roots as a coach, business owner and respected community volunteer.Giving back to the community is part of his heritage having volunteered for more than 35 years helping build confident healthy young people, and raising money for many grass roots charities.He resides in White Plains with his wife Lisa and their four children Shane, Kelsey, Makayla and Trey. The Fee's were recognized as the top Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Fundraising Family for three consecutive years.
Mr. Fee holds a B.A. in Economics from Hobart College in 1988 where he received the Henry Hawley Award for Outstanding Achievement in Economics and was the winner of the Readers Digest Foundation Scholarship for Exceptional Performance as a Student Athlete. He is certified in CPR and First Aid and maintains re-certification every two years.
